LPick & Place Robot Cell
Project Overview:
This Project was handed to Scale Up Partners (SUP) after the initial design and scope had been completed by others involved in the project.
Project Outcomes:
SUP had the challenge of conducting FAT testing at the supplier’s workshop with new product that had not been factored into the initial design scope.
We worked with the equipment supplier and the client to redesign the pick-up head and introduce small modifications and enhancements to both the PLC and the Robot Controller programs to achieve a more reliable machine operation across a broader range of products than initially designed for.
SUP managed all the FAT, SAT and onsite work compliances, including training, so as the client had a smooth transition into running production.
